So, here's my lil' story. I took my background in marketing and taught myself web design in the evenings and on the weekends while working various jobs in Toronto. I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, which is why I decided to work alongside them straight after graduation, rather than attempting to climb the corporate ladder (I barely lasted a year at the one corporate job I did try out, ha).
This exposure to the entrepreneurial way of life across various industries allowed me to gain a ton of insight into what it takes to run and scale an online biz, and what goes into a website that actually converts.
But when my 9-5 began to feel like I was rubbing a cheese grater against my forehead for 8 hours a day, I knew it was time to GTFO.
And thus, Good Manners was born! No backup plan. No partner to fall back on. Just me, my cat, my savings, a laptop, and a ton of caffeine-fuelled delusion.
Now, I’m helping other women do the same. Whether you’re launching, scaling, or starting fresh, I’m here to design you a website that resonates with your audience, feels like you, and works harder than a hungover intern.
